Norwegian Cruise Line is proud to announce it has been awarded ‘Europe’s Leading Cruise Line’ at the annual World Travel Awards, which took place in Athens at the Europe Gala Ceremony on 30 June. This marks the eleventh year in a row that Norwegian Cruise Line has won this award, beating nine other leading industry competitors to win this top spot.

The World Travel Awards has been recognising and acknowledging excellence amongst companies involved in the global travel and tourism industries since 1993. The annual awards are voted on by thousands of travel and tourism professionals from across the globe and honour travel companies that provide outstanding products and customer service. 

Norwegian’s sixteen ships sail a variety of thrilling itineraries, from the Caribbean to the Panama Canal, Europe, South America and the Mediterranean, as well as Australia and the Far East. Norwegian has had an exciting start to its 2018-19 summer season, with Norwegian Bliss completing her European inaugural sailing, before the official christening at her homeport of Seattle, where she is now cruising Alaska this summer. Guests sailing on board Norwegian Bliss will also be able to experience the stunning destinations of the Mexican Riviera for select voyages in October 2018 and Los Angeles from 2019. For her autumn/winter season, she will sail to the Eastern Caribbean from Miami and in 2019 she will sail from New York City to the Bahamas and Florida and the Southern and Western Caribbean.

In 2019, the cruise line will launch its newest ship, Norwegian Encore, which will sail the Eastern Caribbean in autumn 2019.
