The Queen Elizabeth is the youngest and second largest ship which was built for Cunard. It has been put into service in October 2010 and offers space for 2058 passengers.
Atmosphere on Board
Due to its classy style, this ship is also called “the new queen”. The Grand Lobby as an example impresses with its generous luxurious furnishings and its curved stairs. All Cabins are spacious and well equipped starting at a size of 15 square metres in an inside cabin up to 209 square metres in a Grand Suite. When you book a Suite, you have the exclusive Concierge and Butler Service included. Furthermore you have access to the Queens or Princess Grill Restaurant for Dinner where you can enjoy your Menu between 06:30 and 09:00 p.m. In these restaurants you will experience an exclusive society and culinary highlights. This entrée is exclusively for guests who have booked a Suite in the Princess or Queens Grill Category.
Food and Beverages
All guests who choose staterooms starting from inside up to balcony cabins will dine in a tasteful Art-Deco Ambience of the Britannia Restaurant divided into two Levels. With its glass heaven, elegant pillars and the spectacular tapestry on the front wall it evokes memories of a long forgotten cruise era. There are two main dinner times, either at 6.00 p.m. or at 8:30 p.m. If you prefer to book a balcony cabin in the club category you will enjoy your dinner at the intimate Britannia Club Restaurant. Guests who have booked a suite will savor their dinner at the Princess or Queens Grill restaurant. Enjoy the varied buffets at lunch and dinner time in the Lido Restaurant or make a reservation in one of the specialty restaurants.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
Experience the high-classed shows in the Royal Court Theatre. Dancing under chandeliers in the Queens Room and enjoy the afternoon with traditional English scones and tea.
The ship offers a fitness-centre equipped with modern gym machines and in contrast to this there are four whirlpools for taking a refreshing bath. Enjoy a movie at the Classic film club or discover fascinating portraits from famous stars in the gallery. Play boule, paddle-tennis or crocket and enjoy the view over the bow of the sea.
